Quick Message about Sales Tax β¨

Making a really short post here about upcoming Sales Tax going into effect July 1st. (Patreon will be sending out an email on June 1st to inform everyone of the details further, but I wanted to reach out before then!)
On my end, I was able to "fine tune" my Patreon description to be more specific to the content for tax purposes- all of my content here is digital, so I wanted to let everyone know that I marked my content as such! So, if you are in a location that charges tax for digital content or livestreaming, it will effect you as a small % based on your pledge amount. This is something based on each patron's location. (Here's a list of digital taxes by state for patrons in the US. π)
If you are in a location that does not charge for digital content, you will likely not see any changes.
If you are interested on reading up on this new change, Patreon has a bunch of info here. And, like I mentioned, they will be getting in touch via email on June 1st.π€
