Forgot to mention 2 things. How much I love Aaron, Janice's narcoleptic, evangelical boyfriend! He cracks me up when he's there. His "Have you heard the good news? Richie is not his father or even stepfather - he’s just fucking the kid’s mother, the widow. Remember, Tony promised his dying friend (and boss) that he would help keep Jackie Jr. from following in their footsteps. Like Tony, Jack Sr. wanted a life outside the mob for his kid. So an additional source of tension between Tony and Richie is that Richie keeps trying to impress Jackie Jr. by getting him drugs, and having him ride along and beat up people who owe Richie money. Ritchie is pure evil.
