I just realized that the guys that build the robots are named Mutt & Jeff, like the very very very old comic strip characters. Seeing Ms Mead with a gun for an arm reminded me of Rose McGowan in Planet Terror.

I remember when this season was being teased they released teaser photos of each season location nuked to the ground including the roanoke house I think.

The Romanov family were staying at an estate in Yekaterinburg after the czar's palace had been sacked, and a group of soldiers did come and take them down to the basement telling them it was to keep them safe, but then executed the entire family. They were buried in and around the woods in the area, but for years and years there were theories that Anastasia might have survived, many women during the 20th century actually claimed to be Anastasia - some did it for fame, others because they actually believed it due to various mental issues. However in 1979 - 61 years after the death of the family - Anastasia's bones were finally found though not actually exhumed and eventually identified till the early 90s. It's one of the most intriguing eras in history in my opinion. There's a fantastic docu/re-enactment mini series called The Last Czars that tell the story from historians as well as dramatizations. Highly recommend it! For a lighter look of the story there's the 20th Century Fox animated film Anastasia, absolutely amazing, I've seen it more times than I can count!
