Thanks for sharing your reaction to this. It's hard not to be let down by Glass -- subverting superheroic expectations is essential to the story. But there's a lot to enjoy if one is so inclined. I like that the Unbreakable theme reappeared here as an echo of old doubt and mystery, but both Elijah and David got new motifs; indeed the score was thematically rich while being spare in orchestration.
One of my favorite aspects to contemplate is the low-key handling of Casey's supernatural ability. Is it self-masking/preserving? Dr Staple seems aware and exploits it but doesn't treat it as a threat.

You probably looked it up by now but just in case you didnβt, Davidβs son is played by the same actor from Unbreakable.
