The Echo trailer seemed to reference Wilson Fisk’s backstory from Daredevil with the crack in the wall eerily similar to the wall Fisk was staring at before he killed his dad. They’ll probably just pick and choose which elements they want to keep. My guess is they’ll keep each character’s backstories but tweak the main events of the shows.

2023-11-14 16:50:36 +0000 UTCHonestly my one big criticism too was the completely separate arcs that never intertwined. I think they did it better than Daredevil S2 because I at least found the Pilgrim arc mostly engaging and it concluded within the season, but in hindsight it felt like the Pilgrim storyline exists solely so Amy can remain in the picture. Imo they should’ve either linked Amy/Pilgrim to Billy’s former enterprise in some way OR just deal with the Pilgrim stuff in the first half of the season and finish of Billy in the second half.
