2023-05-18 14:41:33 +0000 UTCbastards from the north are called snow, bastards from the riverlands are called rivers, bastards from the vale are called stone, bastards from the iron islands are called pyke most of the time, bastards from the westerlands are called hill, bastards from the crownlands are called waters, bastards from the reach are called flowers, bastards from the stormlands are called storm, and then finally yes bastards from dorne are called sand! so for example since gendry is from kings landing (the crownlands) his name is gendry waters!

They just took advantage of him and Tywin dying and smelled opportunity. I would have quit the faceless men as soon as they had me sweeping floors for weeks lol. Ramsey is a real pos. Definitely worse than Goffery. I always use them in discussing the difference between psychos (Goffery) and sociopaths (Ramsey). Goffery has no sense of right or wrong and thinks he's the good guy. Ramsey knows what he is doing is wrong and simply does it anyway with 0 remorse. Poor Sansa can't catch a break.

2023-05-13 13:52:42 +0000 UTCI think the shows creators admitted that too. "It was a perfect storm. We had this gorgeous location, the Alcázar palace, but we weren't allowed to shoot there at night. So we couldn't have a night infiltration, when you'd logically do it. But at least we could have a cool fight during the day, where you can see everything. Then we lost our stunt people a few days before, so we had to make do with what the actors had learned up until that point and cut around it. The Water Gardens fight was supposed to be much more elaborate. I remember Jeremy [Podeswa, the episode's director] at the time not being happy with it."

2023-05-13 02:03:11 +0000 UTCIain Glenn, who plays Jorah Mormont, plays an older Bruce Wayne/Batman in DC’s Titans. I think he was great as a older Bruce Wayne being a pseudo father figure for the titans. He was great at expressing authority without saying or doing much, he was never seen in the suit, but you could easily believe he is Batman. The show isn’t great, it’s got problems, it tries to be dark and mature but comes off edgy, like a 16 year old trying to sound adult, but it’s unique and interesting. Definitely more interesting than the cw arrow verse shows or the Disney plus marvel shows. It’s got lots of swearing and violence, really dark subject matter, drugs addiction, heroes with a background of sexual abuse he volunteered for to protect his brother from the same. They kill characters and break un-breakable rules. They also have only 13 episodes a season with a better budget…..

2023-05-13 01:48:48 +0000 UTCtbf that’s the whole point of her character, although out of the 3 of them, cersei’s values/ideals are most aligned with her father, as tywin has said, she’s not as smart as she thinks she is. cersei is just extremely crazy and delusional (especially in the books) which makes her terrible at making political decisions lmao

She’s armed a militant group who have no allegiances and answer to no one simply to alight her son’s wife. And then she gets the heir to the Crown’s most powerful ally arrested in the process. Very very dumb.
