Perspective Shift - Page 66

The "experiment performed which changes the people who performed it so they don't realize it worked" was the original idea I had that led to the entire rest of the comic. I thought it would be an interesting setting for reality alteration if there's a small group of people that knew something might have happened, but weren't sure, because whatever they did worked on them along with everyone else. Then there could be just one person who actually saw the changes, and the story would follow them in limited third person so the reader experiences their bewilderment along with them.

I'd gotten the idea several years ago and I just couldn't get it out of my head. x) The rest of the story fell into place pretty easily after that.

I'd certainly leave the universe as is. We need more sex positivity.

Time to test it a few more times, just to be sure they can't see what's happening

Thanks so much! That's great to hear :>

Ohhhhh my god, this reveal is incredible. A group of scientists oblivious to the results of their project, but one random subject is completely aware. GOD, yes!!! I always felt trepidacious to the idea of one person being aware of changes to reality that nobody else sees; I've said before, it does open up to awkward interactions that I'm not comfortable with. But to be a complete fish out of water, in the dark about what exactly has happened, all the way up until the scientists reveal it to them? My god, that just sparked a whole lot more love for this premise for me!

Hell yeah! I do love the idea of people causing changes, but not knowing what they changed. It's a GREAT bit of reality altering!
