Remember the first film's reveal of Billy as the killer? It was a one-two punch. First that it was him and the second the reason why he was the killer (Sidney's mom breaking up his family). I thought it would have been AMAZING if Jill had the same one-two punch reveal. One, that she's the killer and they are making their own movie. Then Two, that she is the daughter of Sidney and Billy that was birthed in secret and handed over to her aunt to raise before Sidney went off to college (Scream 2 takes place two years after the events of the first one.) Throw in how Jill found out, felt abandoned and that would make Sidney the bad guy in her eyes. So when she has to kill her mother to stay in line with the remake, that actually means Sidney. All sorts of emotional beats you can throw in there. It would mean Jill would only be like 14 years old by the time this was out but years can be played with and aging her to 16 or 17 wouldn't have been that big of deal. Plus add to why now, 11 years after the events of Scream 3. Anyway, what do you think of this idea? I literally thought this was the twist when watching this in theaters for the first time.
