Its not really spoiling but one thing they don't talk about in the movies that they talk about in book 4 and 5 is that Neville's parents aren't dead. Bellatrix, her husband, Barty Crouch Jr. and another Death Eater tortured Neville's parents with the cruciatus curse. They are still alive but tortured to the point of insanity. They now live in the Wizard hospital of Saint Mungos.
