- Expressions were a little tricky to pull off, mostly for the mouth.
- Completed brow and eye expressions tuesday, integrated into the rig.
- Wednesday spent integrating eyelashes.
- Wrestled more with the eyelashes on Thursday..
- Wrote a script to handle eyelash situation better (as well as any related future problems).
While integrating eyelashes, worked using a hair system (learning that bit by bit). It's.. unpredictable sometimes. Autosave happens and you might get 6 individual hairs jumping out of context (length, rotation) and it's all an irreparable mess. That's... real bad if it keeps happening. Looking into options on what can be done to have it 100% consistent in all situations.
After almost 5 work hours (Wednesday) and delegating with software... had to resort to the slightly more tedious, but trustworthy method of doing eyelashes.. The dynamic hair system so far is proving unreliable.
All in all.. only hours away from completing the rig for the stallion, and HOPING mare can get done next week.
