KEEPING TIME GUEST COMIC: "GRWM" by Nicky Rodriguez
Added 2024-11-22 00:43:28 +0000 UTCI can't handle it anymore, I'm caving in and sharing the upcoming Keeping Time guest comics early!! The rest of the world will be getting these during Keeping Time's upcoming winter break between chapters 2 and 3, but you lovely patrons get them now!
The first is a single pager featuring - gasp - everyone's favorite bartender, ELENA. I asked Nicky for anything with Elena going about her day, and she came back with this incredible 'get ready with me' that I ADORE SO MUCH. Look how happy and cute Elena is!! 😭So stylish!! I continue to think that every day that Elena isn't the main character of Keeping Time is another day I'm making a mistake, hahaha!
I told Nicky I'm probably going to be stealing all of these outfits for Elena in the main comic at some point (although I probably won't be able to draw shoes with quite the same OOMPH that Nicky does).
Nicky makes her own webcomic, The Unlucky Ones and the Edge of Nowhere (TUOTEON), a melancholy road trip story about two queer Latinx young adults burdened with superpowers trying to escape the path life wants to take them on. You can read it on Webtoons or Global Comix! You can also follow Nicky on Bluesky (where the two of us yell about the Japanese national men's volleyball team and Haikyuu! together)
I'll post the second guest comic sometime next week, so hang on to your pants!
