Just a quick lil update to say: thank you all again for voting in this month's Fanart Mash-Up poll!! There was a tie between who to draw, with votes split evenly between Babs Gordon (DC) and El Desperado (NJPW). Since El Desperado was a patron suggestion (thank you, Ciaràn!), I decided that should get more weight in a tie breaker, so we're painting Despy like he's from L.A. Noire this month!! 🔥🔥

But I'm not just here to drop a WIP on you - I also need to be honest that I might not finish this fanart mash-up on time, because Seattle's entering a record-breaking heatwave with temperatures expected to push into the 100s (F, 37C) over the next week in a region with infrastructure not necessarily equipped to deal with uh, that.

Luckily, my partner and I have a portable air conditioner to keep our apartment cool, but we're also in a building with sort of old wiring, and we've already tripped the breaker twice with our AC unit and our computers going, so uh. There's a chance we're gonna continue to experience electrical setbacks that'll keep me from being able to use my art PC until this heatwave passes. 😂
