OCTOBER REWARD: Marko Timelapse
Added 2019-11-01 20:11:39 +0000 UTCI've been SO hesitant to share a timelapse process video that shows this early of a sketch stage because I am so embarrassed about my terrible sketching and I haven't wanted anyone to see just how BAD it is. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: draftsmanship is not my strong point. :(
But! I'm slowly learning how to fix forms without needing color or lighting to visualize it. This brush helped! Instead of using a pen brush, like I did for the rest of Inktober, I kept using the same pencil I use for sketching, and I think it works so much more naturally for me!

"because I think too much about the nuances of my words" -- I TOTALLY GET THAT, sometimes I'll write and rewrite because I'm afraid I'll be saying something too vague or that could be misinterpreted, or come across in a tone I don't mean, ahahaha! Also, thank you SO MUCH for this song, it is BEAUTIFUL and so, so gentle -- I have a feeling I'm going to be listening to it A LOT in these next few winter months, omg!

I wanted to reply right away but every time I tried I got so overwhelmed and I wanted to savor it, I somehow let a few weeks go by. ;A; I definitely feel like making YouTube videos would be hella fun but I definitely need more practice explaining things - I recorded a trial talkthrough but without a script or rehearsal, i was so all over the place, it felt like I dropped maybe one useful bit of knowledge every seven minutes, and the other six minutes were just me rambling, ahahha. I hope you can continue to keep following that creative urge -- that's a WONDERFUL space to be in!!
