I experimented with a process that utilises a similar animation technique to “rigging” which is used a lot in V tuber and 3D modeling to kinda see what I could do!
Overall I still think the traditional method works best for me, however I do see the merit when dealing with complex hair styles and movements but I think it would work optimally as a guideline as opposed to a final form.
