Development Diary: November Updates & Paint Competition News

Hey everyone,

First off, thank you so much for the incredible support this month. It’s been fantastic to see how well this release is being received—it really means the world to me!

Here’s a quick roundup of updates:

Paint Competition Delay

The Paint Competition entry deadline has been extended to January 1, 2025! Based on your feedback, it’s clear many of you would appreciate some extra time to submit your work, which is completely understandable.

💡 Reminder: You can enter with previously painted miniatures—no need to paint something specifically for the competition!

Patreon Payment Timing Changes

Patreon is rolling out changes to how payments are processed, which will slightly affect how you access your models. Here’s how it works:

• Payment Timing: If you subscribe on November 20th, you won’t be charged until December 20th. Once payment is processed, I’ll send you a MyMiniFactory redeem email to unlock your STLs.

• Model Delivery: These emails will be sent every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, so there might be a slight delay from the payment date.

• Why the Change? This is due to Patreon’s integration with the Apple App Store. Although the timing has shifted, the monthly process of charging and delivering models remains the same.

💡 Note: Patreon has actually always been the cheapest option compared to MyMiniFactory Tribes, so this will be a bit of a reason for that.

November Miniature Highlights

Now, onto the fun stuff:

Pin-Up Mini Painter with a Christmas Variant

I’ve always wanted to create a classic pin-up miniature, and this month, I’ve gone for a playful throwback to early 2000s aesthetics! She’s a curvy mini painter, complete with the option to add a festive Santa hat for the holidays.

 Shes intended for 75mm but will also have a 32mm as it is usually requested. Also, depending on requests, I might make her a figurine support option at 120mm+

Siblings of Combat – Complete Squad

 The Siblings of Combat squad is now complete!

• I’ve added 5 new bodies, including a banner wielder, new weapons, and alternate heads, making it a full squad of 10.

Wrapping up this squad I am excited to jump onto the next one which will be a ‘repentia’ style squad here are some reference!

Dollar Mini of the Month

This month’s $1 STL is a pole-dancing objective marker—perfect for adding a little fun to your games! This will be the last time this particular base will be used for the dollar mini of the month. Next month will probably be an overly sexualized Repentia.

Coming Soon

I’ve been juggling a lot this month, including a full-time contract job, but I’m thrilled to share that everything is on track for the December 2nd release!

Keep an eye out for a sneak peek at the final mini of the month: the monster girl, Polamu.
