Comic Remakes?
Added 2019-10-22 01:30:35 +0000 UTCWell, well, well, as you may know, I've been remaking some of my older comics. Recently I've been questioning myself about if I should continue making them or not :o
See, the main reason of making them is to fill little plotholes and inconsistencies. I have a few "pros and cons" about both options but I'll give you little context in order to make it easier to decide.
It's a "black or white" question, so, what do you think?

Although I would normally prefer you to focus on the new ones, I greatly appreciate you making the story coherent and covering plot holes :3

2019-10-22 08:47:06 +0000 UTCI want to add some clarification on why I chose my answer (I don't want to influence anyone's vote so please stop reading now if you haven't decided already). I think you can remake the comics still, because you may have noticed some mistakes or things you want to add in. I like seeing the differences between the originals and the remakes. It's like Tony Comics 2.0 in a way, hehe. I would also say that this can be your chance to truly decide what will be permanently "canon" (thus far in the series), and answer some questions viewers may have had about certain moments. Also, I think that for the sake of consistency, it will be beneficial to keep this going so there isn't any sudden drop in story arcs or characters. It may actually CREATE a plot hole unknowingly, if you stop! Perhaps doing a "fresh review" of what you have so far and pretend that the reader has NEVER seen Tony Comics before! This may just be their first time reading the series! The earlier strips can still be around in an archive showing where you came from, and the modern remakes of the strip will show where you are now as an artist, while also telling your stories in the style you have in your head today. I think once you finish remaking the strips that you want, that would be a good stopping point. Be careful not to go too far reREmaking a strip for a third time! All I can really say in the end is, just do a careful review and imagine you are a reader who has NEVER heard of Tony Comics before, and this is their first time reading it. Will they really know who all these awesome characters are? These are some good things to consider~
