Progress update: Transparency Matters
Added 2024-09-03 20:43:17 +0000 UTCWork is in full swing on Lili: 30 hours spent total, and at 90 seconds of animation so far. But I've hit an unexpected issue! The bars... obscure the oral action. Well, now that I spell it out, I'm not sure how did I not expect it. ๐
I had to turn to some fairly esoteric methods to deal with this and I'm curious which do you folks prefer: transparency with silhouettes, full transparency or partial transparency without silhouettes.
I've been losing my mind with this issue, so this part isn't very polished yet, but here's two of those options in motion.

It's entirely possible that I'm just overreacting and this is not actually necessary tbh, it's a very subjective thing. And if it's an immersion-breaker, I can just render with and without transparency. Would be worth it if I know that's someone's preference. ๐

2024-09-09 20:30:01 +0000 UTCimo any sort of transparency kinda ruins immersion for me. the idea is that she's sucking dick behind bars so the bars should be a present feature in the scene. from the silhouette option in the anim we got currently, I personally don't see how the bars would take up enough space to ruin the scene if they were left as is. but of the current options, silhouette is easily the best.

2024-09-03 20:51:47 +0000 UTCI can safely say I DO NOT like full transparency. It makes Lili look like a phasing through the bars ghost. As for the other two, both look okay to me. Although seeing the first one in motion slightly makes me lean towards it, haha.
