Status update + survey poll! (IMPORTANT)

Hey everyone! First and foremost thank you to everyone who participated in the last poll. The results were pretty much what I expected them to be with the Digestion taking an easy first, followed by Weight Gain and Struggling.

Anyways, I just like making these "Status Update" posts to kind of let everyone know what's on my mind. With the final illustrations done for Patreons all that's left to tackle are animations. This includes: Succubus Sprite, Nessa Animation, Dawn Animation, and the Zelda Animation. My hope is with the April being sort of a break I can get most of these done. I really dislike sharing WIPs of animations because A) They're messy and ugly and B) I think showing off animations early kind of ruins their wow factor.

I know animations are currently my biggest claim to fame and maybe the initial reasons you guys decided to become Patrons in the first place. So this coming month is dedicated to just that!

Next on the agenda, Raffles vs Commissions Tiers. In the quarter year this Patreon has been open I've experimented with both types of means of giving back art to generous Patrons.

Raffles are a great way to allow those who don't have much to spare a chance to still receive art! However, the randomization associated can leave many of those in that tier+ left with nothing.
Commission Tiers were a simple, direct way for Patrons to find what they wanted and pay for it. However, this meant commissions were on a first-come first-serve basis. Leaving people who may have wanted a commission unable to if they weren't fast enough. And similar to Raffles, having people lock into Commission Tiers kind of left me without that option to pick and choose which commissions to pick up and which of them to drop.

The reason I bring this up is because I'm planning on a new third replacement option for May, Priority Commission Slots (PCS). PCS as the name implies will sort of reform to good ol' fashioned commission slots. The reason for "Priority" is that these slots will be available to Patrons a week before it opens up to the public(if any slots are left). Patrons of any tier will be eligible to submit ideas for a commission via Patreon/Discord during that week. Ultimately, I'll probably pick 1-3 comms to do. I'll spend the next couple days prepping an actual commission sheet.

Now that it's all out on the table I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts on all this! Do you think PCS is better than the current reward system? Should there be replacement incentives, like commission discounts for higher tiers? Are there other rewards you guys are interested in?

Your feedback is invaluable!

P.S. Binding of Isaac: Repentance comes out in a few days so I might just drop off the face of the planet for a lil while.

This might sound a bit weird and complicated, but I think it would be interesting to have mix of the options, perhaps changing the options each month or two months. I definitely like the option for your supporters to have priority to get commissions first, but then it would be interesting to change up the selection process. For example one month would be first come, first serve, another month would be a raffle made of out people interested, another could be the above proposed auction. I'm talking purely out of personal experience here, but I noticed some patterns from others utilizing all the options. With first come first serve there's usually a group of people in advantage thanks to time zones, with auction there tends to pop up a selected few that has bunch of money and can pay their way to a slot each time, raffle seems most fair to all but as we've saw with my luck so far, it can get a bit skewed sometimes too ^^; It would be interesting to perhaps see them change every once in a while and how that turns out to hopefully broaden the possibility for more people to get a slot.

You can put up, say, 5 commission slots. People can bid on the slots over the course of a week, winner takes the slot. 1 slot per person. Maximum value to you.

commission auction system? Could you elaborate, I'm unfamiliar.

Have you considered a commission auction system
