Laptop Shut Down
Added 2024-08-16 21:37:19 +0000 UTCHey everyone! This isn't the first time but when I was exporting linearts my laptop shut down. The problem is every time I start it back up, the progress bar gets to about 70% and then shuts back down.
Already called my computer doctor who's a wizard and brought my laptop back from literal death a little over a year ago

I couldn't agree more with both it being time for a replacement and with the mac stuff. You see I was always a windows user, this macbook was a gift from WAY back when. Got it used in 2016, it's a 2011-2012 model, and then in 2021 I built a pc for my VFX and MoGraph work cause obv my macbook couldn't stand it. However I cannot for the life of me draw on pc haha. Obv if I have to I will. But I rather migrate to my girlfriend's windows laptop to be able to work comfortably. Just gotta rescue my files!π€π€π€

2024-08-16 22:33:13 +0000 UTCBest of luck, but your laptop might be telling you that it's time to get a new one seeing as this is the 2nd time in about a year that it's happened. Also I don't know if Mac is better for doing art and stuff that you do, but maybe you should get a non-Mac laptop if you do end up getting a new laptop unless of course Mac is better for the things you do with it.
