Reacting to the Eras Tour Movie (extended cut)
Added 2026-02-03 01:42:35 +0000 UTC
Here it is! Thank you for the support and I'm glad I can finally post this because believe me when I say the universe did NOT want me to make this video.
From issues with just playing the movie to editing bugs I couldn't begin to elaborate on, it's a miracle I'm even typing this sentence.
Next time I react to a movie, I'll have to be sure to record my camera and the movie separately because, as it sits, YT has blocked the entire thing. This will remain an exclusive here for a while anyway, so enjoy what ended up being the extended cut!
A learning experience for me, hopefully entertaining for you.
Lived this reaction even though it was so cut up. I would love to see your reaction to the final show and also the docuseries. The ttpd set is killer and her vocals smash on the final leg of the tour. Thank you as always for your reactions.

Okay finally got to finish and
1. Not showing the don’t blame me and look what you made me do transition, illicit affairs, and my tears ricochet was a CRIME JERRY.
2. All of those performances at the end were in there every single night! This is the version that released after the theaters (they cut those out for the theater version). Then the one that is on streaming on DisneyPlus has everything where it belongs PLUS more acoustic performances at the end.

I've seen this movie about a hundred times but Fearless set always makes me nostalgia cry
Cutting the transition between Don't Blame Me and LWYMMD is criminal btw
Debut Surpemacy! 💚
(Yes i've finally gotten around to watching)

You can think of the Extras as Eras Tour Vault Tracks

So much to say but most of all - tons of extra acoustic performances tagged on to the end as well AND the crowd noise is in the other version “the last show in Vancouver” - DEFINITELY worth the watch alongside the 6 part documentary series - REALLY good stuff

She wasn't doing long live yet when I went and... I was so angry when she started doing it after Speak Now TV.

I just wanted to add that I am so glad for you that a chunk of your very favorite Taylor songs are included in this! I feel the same way, with the Eras movies and the docuseries, means I got every favorite song in my top 5 but one, and it was mentioned but not played. Ready For It, Death By a Thousand Cuts, Happiness, Marjorie, and The Prophecy.

You were 48 seconds away from making this 1:13!
The columns of light for Don't Blame Me have, depending on the venue, gone up to the sky and lit up low-lying clouds, iirc! I've seen pictures of crowdgoers angled up to show it, but I can't find them at present :(
Essential Knowledge Section (not comprehensive):
->The little girl in the video is Bianka Bryant, Kobe's surviving daughter ❤️
-> Kameron Saunders is the guy who said 'like, EVER' during the Red Era. He chose a region-specific way to phrase that for every location, and on the final night he said 'for the last time, NO'
-> Shake It Off and the dancing therein set off seismic meters in Washington state!
-> One of the 'chants' is Kendrick's line where it appears in Bad Blood: 'you forgive, you forget, but you never let it go'
-> during Anti-hero there's a part that's not on the album where the backup singers sing 'Taylor you'll be fine' and that's from Jack Antonoff's satirical version of the song!
-> there are 3 versions of the Eras Tour. One was the theatrical cut which then was put on Disney+ with the performances they cut for time added onto the end. One is the 'Taylor's Version' of the same recording, with those placed back in, and the whole 6 acoustic set songs recorded over the 3 shows at So-Fi added at the end. (interestingly, you probably have a bootleg of that first version, because I don't think it's avilable on D+ anymore) Then there's The Final Show, which was recorded on the last day in Vancouver. The sound editing is a bit different, and the vibe is a bit different (in good ways!), as everyone involved knows it's the last one.
-> some of the locations she would have done the Eras Tour just couldn't accommodate the safety and size of the stage concerns, or she would have done more! In the docuseries they said the demand for tickets on the day they went on sale would have been enough for 250 shows.
Absolutely criminal to have wanted more crowd and then cutting 1, 2, 3 LGB so we don't get to see your reaction to it! I literally said 'I need this' and then boom, a cut! NGL I know you meant hearing them singing along, I feel you on that. It's kind of like an echo, but I understand why they didn't do that; it would have been nice to have a bonus of a few songs with the crowd noise turned up so people understand what it was like on stage without in-ears! You cut the transition between DBM and LWYMMD??? SIR. (btw I love that you did this, thank you, I josh you because I care. Dear god please tell me edits don't send you new notifs)
The LGBT friendly song you're thinking of is You Need to Calm Down, which was the (truncated) song after The Man in the first Era.

18 minutes in and just wanted to say I think you would appreciate the docuseries. And you know we would love to see it. 😉 six episodes about 45 minutes each.

The fitbit comment had me cracking up 😂😂😂
In the doc series she said she walked over 8 miles every show. The stamina to sing and dance for 3.5 hours blows me mind
Highly recommend the doc series, even on your own time and watching the new tour movie after. It gives you even more appreciation for everything - from the band, dancers, set and everything else. And you get to see some of the featured guests. Incredible

By the time I saw her (Edinburgh night 1), TTPD had been released and the setlist had changed, so I got no Long live, the one, tolerate it (RIP), and several others. Still, the TTPD set was phenomenal (definitely worth a watch), and the crowd was insanely loud!
