Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter as a US/UK member

You ONLY need to support the Kickstarter campaign if you want more than one copy of A Nice Cuppa, or will to switch it out when it is the Featured Wallet in the club package. The new expansions for The Last Lighthouse cannot be switched.

For this campaign, we will NOT be using a pledge manager for US or UK backers. You will need to calculate the amount to pledge based on the reward you wish to receive.

Choose the $1 Board Game of the Month Club Members reward level and adjust your pledge amount by adding bonus support. Find the reward level that you would like in the table below, then add the cost of shipping and subtract the discount for your patron level to find out how much to pledge.

Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter as an INTERNATIONAL member (not US/UK)

For this campaign we will be using Gamefound’s Pledge Manager again. Simply pledge for A Nice Cuppa (for International Backers) $12 reward, do NOT use the Board Game of the Month Club Members reward. Choose any add-on content you wish to include with your pledge, and you’re all set. You will be able to upgrade to a higher reward level in the pledge manager if you wish to.

Shipping will be collected in the Pledge Manager, and your club discount will be added using your email address to link your Kickstarter and Patreon support. The items pledged for at Kickstarter will be transferred to your cart in the Pledge Manager and you will be able to finalize the content of your reward there, adding any games from the Button Shy catalog and making an additional payment for content and shipping if required.

When the Pledge Manager opens, if you do not see the credit, we will be able to update it manually; this will most likely happen if your Kickstarter name and email address is different to your Patreon name and email address. Please email buttonshyhelp@gmail.com when the pledge manager opens if you need us to apply the credit to a different Gamefound account.

A Nice Cuppa is the seventh game in Button Shy’s Simply Solo series. Designed by Scott Almes, the game tasks the player with managing Worries through careful card management across 8 turns. As Worries are revealed, they complicate your life and force you to become distracted. Focus on your tea to eliminate those pesky problems and soothe your shattered nerves. Once your tea is ready, evaluate how you did.

To start the game, first shuffle the 7 Tea cards and place them in a line, Focused side up, each with a random face-down Worry card directly below it. On your turn, first flip over a single face-down Worry. Then, in sequence from left to right, resolve each face-up Worry. These force you to rearrange your Tea cards in various ways, and you'll need to plan carefully to keep them from messing up your well-laid plans.

After all Worries have been resolved, flip each Tea card above a face-up Worry to its opposite face. This turns a Focused Tea card into a Distracted one and vice versa. Remove each face-up Worry that’s below a Focused Tea card. These Worries have been addressed through the calming powers of tea and won’t be dealt with again! Lastly, if you choose to, you may swap any two adjacent Tea cards to get them in a better position for the next turn.

After 8 turns, your tea is ready (whether you are or not). Score points for each Tea Card you have in the correct order, plus extra points for each Tea Card with its Focused side showing. But beware that you’ll lose points for each remaining Worry.

Tally up your total and check your score to see whether you’re ready to face the rest of your day or need to cozy up with another cuppa!
