This game is about making yourself a nice cup of tea, grabbing a good book and letting go of all your worries! The game has a relaxing vibe and we wanted a relaxing art style to match. The entire tea making process will be shown on the cards. So our non tea drinkers had to do a little research!
As always, at the very start of the project our team discussed the art direction. For this game we were inspired by the Lo-fi style that is usually paired with Lo-fi study music. This style just made sense with a game about relaxation.
And here we have our character sitting on a bean bag chair, enjoying some tea and some music. To be honest, I wish that was me right now! This was the first illustration we received by artist Andrea Iveric Vicai. This piece set the vibe for the whole game. When our card layouts are finalized I'll share them with you all!
