Some News & A Peek At Battlecrest

Jason and I met up again on Sunday and caught up on a lot of backlogged shipments. We packaged and shipped the last of the missing September and October packages for our international patrons. Last week when we gathered all the materials for the packages we thought we needed to order a sticker set. Fortunately we found the stickers hiding in a box under the giant paper cutter (yes, the very same one that tried to eat Jason’s finger!).
Next on our To-Do list was to get the start assembling any of the missing March and April. Luckily this time none of the components were hiding, so we were able to get right to sorting cards. We were able to get a good number of them assembled and we can check that off the backlog real soon.
Out last task for Sunday was to start shipping May packages. Since we had all the components ready for the $5 and $10 packages we got them sorted and packed up. So some of you may have received a shipping notice already! Ok, that wraps up the news...
Now let me tell you a bit about Battlecrest!
Battlecrest is a 2 player tactical skirmish game. To become the true Battlecrest champion you'll need to master the potential of your hero's crest and defeat your opponent.
Battlecrest is in the vein of Summoner Wars or Unmatched but in 18 cards. Much more info will be coming soon, but before this game hits Patreon or anywhere else we need some testers! The testing server is a full discord server dedicated to testing Button Shy Games. It's run by Michelle here, and there's usually a new game or expansion every week or two. All games are print and play, and some games (including Battlecrest) have Tabletop Simulator builds. Some of the testers have even met up online to play together.
