[Hey it's Jason (remember me!?) jumping onto the top of George's update to give a quick package status report. April Packages are starting to work their way out and will probably take the next week to be fully out the door. We fully intended to have all of April out in April, and I believe we can have May out in May, but we have a 2 person weekend team that exclusively handles the BGOTMC package assembly (as everyone else is knee deep in Agropolis). Unfortunately they were unable to come in for 2 of their 4 weekends in April, so the packages have gotten backed up. We're essentially two weeks behind schedule and I'm working on getting some backups incase this happens again.
Otherwise, we're in the midst of shipping April, wrapping up the October catchup packages, and our poor international $20 subscribers have been patiently waiting for their 2 month packages for both of those months. Hope to be done all of this ASAP and moving onto May shortly. What's in May... well I'll pass it back to George.]
Well, May is just about here! I know it’s not ideal to get the preview so late in the month, but one of the reasons I joined Button Shy was to correct that. Our future Previews will be posted by the 15th the month. I think that by helping Jason with all our behind the scenes stuff it’ll have a positive impact on our ability to bring you this information quicker.
Let's take a peek at what's ahead!

The first game on our list is for all our $5+ Patrons. We have the even more Lightyear! This kit adds a new map, new crew and a new set of enemies, but NO new boss!? Instead of a new boss, the kit brings a Spaceport postcard that introduces longer form campaign play.

You'll place the spaceport between two sector maps and play two full games, with a little extra trouble in-between. The enemies and boss at the second sector are boosted, but you can use actions in the first sector to weaken them. It's an all new type of balance, looking toward the long game.
This is the first of many spaceports, each twisting the two game campaign in a new way, and even allowing bigger and bigger campaigns as more are released.
Next up we have Skulls of Sedlec: Poets, which goes to $10+ Patrons. Poets want to be next to forlorn Romantics. Poets will earn 4 points per adjacent, non-scoring Romantic.

Just like the previous expansions, this is an new skull type for Skulls of Sedlec. For those that can't seem to pair up the romantics, you might split them up on purpose now to get the most points out of your poets.
And Finally, for our $20+ Patrons we need you to help the production studio get it's script in order so the big movie can start filming! In Moving Pictures players take turns placing numbered scene cards from their hand into the shared Timeline row in hopes of getting all 6 cards in order. The catch? They can’t speak or signal to each other, so they’ll have to watch each other’s play closely for clues. Each card also has an effect listed which can impact placement, swap cards around, or even allow players a rare opportunity to share information.

Getting it right once is a feat in itself but a full game of Moving Pictures is played over 3 Acts. The Timeline grows with each Act, making each round harder than the one before. Thankfully you also have access to 2 Deleted Scenes: if the round would end with scenes out of order, you can spend a Deleted Scene to hide one card. These Deleted Scenes don’t refresh, meaning that you only get 2 mistakes before the credits roll.
Aaaaand Cut! That's a wrap on the May Preview!
Thanks everyone!
