Added 2020-12-08 13:30:38 +0000 UTCOur newest game, Ugly Gryphon Inn, is live on Kickstarter. It’s the second in our Simply Solo line designed by Scott Almes. As a member you will receive a discount, and all of the details are below. Any questions, just ask.

Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter as a member
Find the reward level that you would like in the spreadsheet below, then locate your region and your patron level to find out how much to pledge. Choose the $1 BGOTMC Members reward level and adjust your pledge amount accordingly.

The Local Dragons expansion will be included in one of your future club packages, so you do not need to include it in your chosen reward.
$20+ PATRONS:
As always, this game will be available to you at no additional cost in one of your future club packages. The More Patrons expansion will come with it and the Local Dragons Expansion will also be included.
So what's the game all about?
You own the questionably prestigious Ugly Gryphon Inn, which is the only inn within a hundred miles. Your patrons are rowdy and rude, but they are the only ones around. Your goal is to fill your inn with enough patrons to keep the debt collectors at bay, but to do so you must manage some painfully particular, peculiar patrons.
In Ugly Gryphon Inn, you’ll be tasked with managing your patrons’ various needs to ensure they all get a good night’s rest. Each turn, you’ll send one drowsy patron up to their room, then check to make sure all your patrons are sleeping soundly. If something’s irking them, they might raise a fuss, so keep an eye on what they need as you go. Afterwards, you’ll usher in more guests and keep an eye on the bar to make sure there’s no trouble. There’s never a moment to rest as the owner of The Ugly Gryphon Inn!

2020-12-17 19:55:01 +0000 UTCForgive me for being part of the collective broken record here, but I want to be sure I pledge correctly. I backed at the $30 level to get everything from both games. I've never owned a Button Shy game before so I figured this would be a good way to start my collection. However after backing I decided to join patreon at the $10+ subscription beginning Jan 1st. It seems I will be getting the Local Dragons and Lost Beasts expansions in the future (so long as I keep my patreon subscription going), but I would still like everything else in the $30 pledge. Is there a way to do that?

2020-12-14 19:08:11 +0000 UTCFood Chain Island: Lost Beasts will be in a future BGotMC package, so you do not need to pledge to support this campaign at all. We're still figuring out how we can offer Game Haul Bags to our highest tier supporters as you don't need to back most Kickstarters.

How would I pledge or buy to get the Food Chain Island: Lost Beasts and another game haul bag (since I will get the Ugly Gryphon Inn as a patron pick later)?

2020-12-08 23:30:06 +0000 UTCFood Chain Island along with the Friendly Waters and Tough Skies expansions is in the August $20 packages shipping now. The Lost Beasts expansion will be in a package in the next few months and you'll receive it as part of your subscription. Ugly Gryphon Inn with both of the Kickstarter expansions will be in the packages in early Summer 2021. This means that you do not need to pledge at Kickstarter for any of the content unless you want additional copies. The Game Haul Bags have proved very popular and will eventually be available to order on our website; they will also be an add-on to this campaign if you choose to pledge.

You can still use the $20 discounts to back this campaign and you will receive the packages at the level you have been subscribed for the remainder of this year when they are sent.

What month is Ugly Gryphon inn included in? Do I still get the Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec rewards at the $20 level since I won't be officially downgraded until the 1st of the year?

I would very much like to get both Food Chain Island and the new game, but I mostly intested in the Haul Bag. The Kickstarter says they are in limited quantities. When you post the spreadsheet for each campaign, include a line that shows which expansions are queued for future BGoTMC deliveries. For example, I had forgotten that Lost Beasts would be included in a future delivery. As such, I backed at the $14 level since that was the only way (per the spreadsheet) to get Lost Beasts. Now that I've read the comments here, I know otherwise (I should back at the $9 level).
