Gather your crew and gear and launch into a fringe section of space where the law teeters over the edge and a good captain can earn a living. There's no shortage of threats that endanger the goodfolk of deep space, but luckily your torpedo bay is full and lasers are hot.

In Lightyear you'll play solo or cooperative with a friend, as the captain of a so-called starship, in hopes of earning some rewards and a decent rep. Using tactical maneuvering and dice-based action selection, you'll work through the sector's small, medium and large enemies trying to gain rewards and ultimately live to see another day.
Customizable episodes will challenge you with variable enemies and threats while offering powerful new gear and talented crew to help you in your adventures.

I considered just leaving this post at that, with no additional info... but I couldn't. :)
So.... this is one of the big 2021 things we've been working on for quite a while. A 1-2 player cooperative, yearlong game in the manner of our previous games, Chain Mail and Personal Space. While very different from both, you'll see some common threads. Postcards. Cubes and dice. Colorful art. Ongoing content. The above images just show a small amount of the game. There's so much still to come.
This is one of those games that hits a lot of great beats for us. The dice system is neat and accessible. The threats are AI that is very simple to manage, yet they have unique and varied interactions. A game session is tough to win, but feels very rewarding when you do. And our pocket universe is as strange as its ever been.
Lightyear was designed by Jason Greeno, with art by Satoshi Waku. It'll release starting in March 2021 as part of the PNP level and all physical game levels. You can play with a single month's content (along with the starter kit), and when you have additional months you can start to mix things up.

And with this in mind, we've FINALLY figured out how to do Personal Space as PNP. Posting that next and separate, just so you'll have everything in one place.
