Hey everyone. It's been quite a few weeks here since Agropolis blew up. We've received no less than a million emails, and have probably been able to reply to 500 of those. It's been intense and we're looking to fill a few crucial roles here ASAP.
With that in mind, we have 5 packages that have been held up and should be in and starting to ship within the next 30 days. This is pretty optimistic on the mail side, but on the production side, it's pretty realistic. We only have a few things left to layout and order, and a good chunk of this has started arriving. But you can see above how many parts make up every single package. It's amazing how one little item can hold an entire package back.
Here's what we're doing differently this time:
We traditionally will pull the monthly data from Patreon before shipping, so when we go to ship out the delayed July package, we pull everyone who subscribed before July 1. The problem is that this delay is just so far back, so someone that joined on July 2nd is still waiting on their first package. So we're shifting gears and sending out packages to all overdue subscribers, no matter when they started. It's going to be costly, but we are more concerned with getting these out right now.
Here's what we're doing differently next time:
We're signing more and more backup content to have waiting in the wings for when there is a delay on the planned games. We have some wallet games signed for exactly this reason, but we're looking at the smaller stuff too. This is also costly, but it's a cost of this monthly silliness. :)
We are moving forward on those games and hope that it helps speed everything up.
If you've sent a message and haven't received a reply:
I will be going through the last messages here over the next 24 hours. If you don't hear back by tomorrow please comment here so I can make sure I find your message.
More digital / patreon stuff on its way
Otherwise, I have a few things pending that are coming to you. A few interviews, Antinomy on TTS, and more. I'm really hoping to have a few brief updates out this week.
Personal Space Print and Play
We've finally figured out how to do Personal Space as print and play. It's slightly different, but also very much the same. If you're interested, let me know here as we'll be sneaking it out slowly.
Thanks everyone! Sorry about the madness here. Working through a mess of our new office with 3 kids doing remote school here each day, while distancing from our employees in another building 10 minutes away, while getting more emails than one person could ever handle. With all of that said, it hasn't been THAT bad. Just tough.
