September starts on Sunday, so we should get in our preview before it's too late, right? Whew this was a tough one, but I'm happy to say that we are really starting to see some progress in getting our packages caught up. The last piece of July is in today, which means we're starting to ship July tomorrow! That puts us one month behind, and if we can get out the next two in the next 30 days, we will be on time again. That would be wonderful. It doesn't solve all of our problems, but one at a time. :)
So lets talk about September. If you want this package and are not a subscriber, you can join us before September 1st, or order the $10 level package directly at our website: https://buttonshygames.com/products/board-game-of-the-month-club-september-2019
Chain Mail
The adventurers reach the Heart of the Chasm... which is made of fire. But it's a core area for exploring. The quest "A Problematic Pest" has you escorting a creature around the map, and in most ways, it's escorting you. You know how you decision at the beginning of each turn is stay or move? Well the creature will decide that for you. The monsters give us our first look at robots in this world, but also brings back the spiders we know and love from Month 6. And finally, the treasure gives us a cavern map for safe travels.

Tempus Quest: Episode 9: Battle at Panthia Outpost
The non-roll and write continues with our team reaching a Dynasty outpost. You'll build turrets and attack troops and try to survive.
Anthelion: The Chaos
In war, some are neutral not because they want peace, but because they want more chaos.
Anthelion is fun in that it has these tiny expansions where you just swap out the middle faction of three each time. This is our 4th expansion and it brings some chaos to the mix. The Chaos messes with your opponent a bit and even lets you use their homeworld ability.

In Vino Morte: Caseus Vitae
The long awaited "cheese expansion"! This expansion has been asked about forever since a reviewer mentioned it in their review. It wasn't released at the time, but it's so simple that you could play it with just about anything, so the reviewer got it to the table and got everyone all wound up haha. We're happy to finally have an official version of the expansion that turns wine into poison and poison into wine.

Tussie mussies exemplifed the Victorian custom of assigning meaning to the flowers that friends and lovers exchanged. Inspired by the ideals of elegance and discretion, these bouquets were carefully made to convey subtle messages to their recipients. Now you can choose the right flowers to make a winning tussie mussie of your own!
Tussie Mussie will finally arrive for the September packages. It's a wonderful "I split you choose" game designed by (and now we can say it officially) Kennerspiel des Jahres winner Elizabeth Hargrave. It's crunchy, deceptive and somehow even teaches you a little bit about the meanings of flowers all at once. Also comes with the Mike Mullins-designed Flower Shoppe solo expansion.

Thanks everyone!
