He-goo-rash-i Higurashi is a great show. It's one of the very original and classic horror shows from what I know. It's just amazing and 100% worth watching. I can't say a lot due to spoilers but certain scenes are still pretty well known in the anime community. Thinking back about some scenes just gives me shivers. So it goes from Higurashi When They Cry (season 1) to Higurashi When They Cry Kai (season 2) to Higurashi When They Cry Rei (season 3) to Higurashi When They Cry Gou (season 4) to finally Higurashi: When They Cry Sotsu (season 5) Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira was a OVA from what I know of so that's why it feels different. Edit: They don't really have fangs, but it's a character trait pretty commonly shown in anime known as lip-fang that makes the character just look more cutesy and nothing else. There's no real meaning behind that.
