This is an introduction for the new Legue season but also looks like it is a teaser for the next season of an Arcane (it is not called Arcane actually, because almost all characters are different and we have a new location for the story, so it is called Noxus I believe and you can almost treat it as a standalone story). Now imagine the series with 18 episodes (two seasons, 9 episodes each) of such a qualitie with amazing songs. Arcane is absolutelly fantastic series!

2025-01-09 22:25:09 +0000 UTCSo um, I've been playing LoL almost since the beginning (Beta was in 2009, I started in S1/2011). The reason I started playing was: Lore. But I just like to play from time to time, it's fun to me and I am well along on the rather steep learning curve, to not get discouraged xd Sooo prepare, WoT inc. First: We usually get a Season Start Cinematic at the beginning of the year (on Season lasts a Year, also linked to competetive Worlds). From this year on tho, the Season is Split into 3 Parts, so we will get multiple Cinematics of which this is the first. The first Split is Noxus themed. This, and the upcoming lore ingame is a direct sequel to Arcane. and the Lore we will now get in the game will be a prequel to the next Show that is currently in the making (aka the lore will weave back and forth between show and game. The 2 people at the end are not exactly "the ultimate bosses", but close enough. They are the 2 founders and leaders of the Black Rose. LeBlanc, also known as the Pale Witch or Sorceress Vladimir, a former Camovoran prince who eventually learned Bloodmagic and is now basically Dracula X Bathony (the more blood he drinks the more youthful his appearance) The fight in the North is Darius, which is one of the 3 Noxian Rulers (tho not in the cinematic as this shows the past, when he is not as buff yet), fighting Trundle. He is the King of the Trolls, specifically Ice trolls and also an Ice Born. Ice Born are "chosen" ones who can wield True Ice without dying. As the name implies, true ice is an absolute (opposite to true fire, pure yin, pure yang..) and cannot be melted. Usually people die from just touching it. I also wanna say that even tho its basically pure lore video, it still holds true to game abilities. For example trundle has the ability to remove 40% Armor xd The Masquerade Ball thingy, is also depicting a Skinline which gets released, that is a "canon lore" skin line. It's the "Silken Dance" organized by the Black Rose. The Assassin is Katarina, most likely sent by Swain (Another Leader of Noxus and shown by Proxy auf the Crow in Arcane too). The Spider Lady is Lady Elise, a member of the Black Rose. She was originally human and then spider demon happend. If you compare Arcane to the rest of the lore, Arcane is the most normie little pebble shiz ever xd. Tutorial compared to what the rest of Runeterra (and beyond) has to offer. Anyways, it would be cool if you would also react to the upcoming cinematics (and maybe even the Motion comic?) I would be interested in a POV who only comes from Arcane mostly to see how they feel about the continued Lore after Arcane
