This is such a great episode, many things come into play here, some were coldly planned and some were like Kaguya said a small favor by the gods. The most important part i would say was the soft-date between the two, the fortune teller already gave you the answer why Shirogane is smooth and chill about these intense moments, she said: "Shirogane, you have the mental strength to carry out your will to the very end." and that tells you everything because he literally told us what he is going to do. On a funny side node, the informations the girl had about him were 1 to 1 the same informations Kaguya has on him and she bragged about it in the first season i believe and now it is suddenly "creepy" :) Another interesting thing we saw was how Shirogane fails at everything considered "normal" sports, music, dance and as we are following him through 3 seasons by now, a lot of social things too but he is suprisingly competent with weird skills like juggling, children games. Interesting is here, that he was struggling with making balloons but without someone teaching him he makes perfect little balloon-dolls now? mhmmmm~
