2024-12-12 03:29:31 +0000 UTCThis is a great episode, i love Maki so much :) she is a great but really sad character too. We see her throughout the show multiple times whenever it is about Nagisa and her Boyfriend in the background crying. She liked him from the start and because of her Kaguya Natura she was unable to convey her feelings and while she was too scared to make the first step he fell in love with Nagisa and with the help of Shirogane he was able to make the relationship happen. It is really cute how she is literally a mirror to Kaguya but thanks to beeing only a branch family member she never received the brutal upbringing as Kaguya so she is more open, confident and most importantly selfaware of these things. There is a clear rivalry between branch family and main family of the Shinomiyas too. So the main-group in the Nagisa friendship circle consists of Nagisa, Maki, Karen and Erika, the last two are the infamous Mass Media Club members but all four grew up together and are best friends which is why Maki doesn't really interfere with the Relationship of Nagisa up until now, now her feelings are too strong that she decided to steal the boyfriend no matter what and risking their friendship along the way. Nagisa, when she first appeared i called her a War-Criminal and it is exactly because of this episode, i can't say more about it but know and remember that it is related to this very episode! We also have some revelations in this episode! Three people in the Student Council are in Love, we know for certain about two! Kaguya and Shirogane, so that means one more is romantically invested but who will it be! Ishigami? Iino? or maybe even Fujiwara? and lastly, four people knew how to cheat the game! With their reaction we know that Chika, Ishigami and Kaguya were the other Three next to Shirogane, so only Iino played fair and didn't know anything.
