I really can recomment a second watchthrough with someone you'd think would enjoy it, just beeing able to fully focus on it the second time off camera will enhance a lot and the sad parts will still hit greatly! :)

2024-11-26 20:50:13 +0000 UTCWooo i got a shoutout in this Episode! Sooo this one was really all over the place with jumping between different pov's every few minutes. There is like one particular thing in this episode that really bugs me, coincidentally it's the one you predicted with your Medua analogy! Not specifically the mirror thing more that Charles actually followed through with the command, because... He took the code from V.V and became immortal, meaning he has become the same thing as V.V was before and C.C still is, any geass shoulnd't work on them, so did he killed himself to be dramatic and have a grand re-entering the stage to scare the shit out of Lelouch? I could actually respect that. There are some theories to it aswell that might explain it, something like "you have to die onece for it to activate" we saw it C.C aswell, she was covered in Blood maybe trying to kill herself after she took the code and killed her "Caretaker" or maybe it was just metaphorical dying so he can be reborn as a imortal living beeing. Either way, good and very well timed prediction on your part! Another thing about the Mirror scene is, that whenever you can see someones eyes they can see yours too, it was still a massive wager by Lelouch using the Mirror trick but at the same time it wasn't needed either because Charles lost his Geass by taking the Code. A nice detail throughout the show is Nunnally holding hands, maybe because she is blind her sense of feeling is increased to notice if someone has microexpressions to notice if they are lying or not, but we see it multiple times that she reaches for the hands when she is worried or in doubt. Suzaku pulling away from her fully aware of that is actually very telling in itself. And about Nina, there is only really one thing to say: "Now i am become death, the destroyer of worlds." EDIT: Right, about C.C and her weird reaction at the end of the Episode, i am not really sure if this was ever fully explained but my personal theory was that the whole "world" they were in was somewhat building around C.C's thoughts and memories, as she had her own little space there with her past and all that, so Lelouch bombing it might have broken a couple of things or rewired them, hard to say without going into future episodes.
