Sometimes it feels like Gaz is trying to connect dots, where there are no dots xd Also I wanna point out, technically (at least based on what we know) Lulu did not lie to Rolo. - CC is right there - For a future (with him) - The time they spent together was real == "I wouldnt lie to you" thus also becomes a non-lie Btw, what do you think Xing Kes motivations are for killing a High Eunuch, for trying to use the Black Knights etc. like "Who is he?" and "Who/What is it for"? x: I rly love his character, and I was wondering what you think of him, though maybe the whole chinese federation stuff is still a bit confusing

2024-10-16 12:16:48 +0000 UTCSome say that things feel "recycled" in the second season and i think i mentioned it before already but personally i see it more as a set up, we saw that Japan especially Tokio was build on platforms to prevent Earthquakes and he used it to his advantage and he used that setup here again to gain the advantage again, which plays directly into "the enemy doesn't learn" while we follow the Black Knights and do learn from failures. It is actually a think that i notice in many shows, they have a special Plan, Idea or Ability and it works perfectly and then just never use it again???? Either Way, i do love Code Geass with all its faults and strenghts :) Rollo sure is torn now, not sure what to believe anymore, his own colleagues speak bad behind his back about him, his target nearly gets himself killed to save his life, he is overly attached to the first birthday present he ever gotten, i think it is fair to assume that Lelouches plan seems to work quite well! About the Chinese delegation, i am honestly not super sure about it myself anymore but as far as i remember, they have a weird political system centered around a Princess which is extremly young, too young to do actual politics that is why the euneuchs reign in her stead and they are very corrupt, china is suffering while they life in riches and so on, Li Xingke seems to be somewhat trustworthy at the very least he was aware of the corruption of that eunouch and wanted to get rid of him but he couldn't because he isn't high enough in standing, so Lelouch commanding the Euneuch to literally worship Zero made his shemes more obviously and therefore it could be argued that this person wasn't acting in the interest of China any longer (he even insulted the princess, royality in asian countries are worshiped like their ancestors where gods or holy in some sort, so you can totally get yourself executed by just complaining about royality, i visited Thailand once and it was the first thing they told us back then, never under no circumstances say anything about their emperor and his portrait was visible everywhere we visited, from personal homes to shops and so on. China is like a cracked version of the rest of asia even tho the communism party took over in our world/timeline) i rambled so long i forgot what i was going to say... damn... well Xingke killed an important person because Lelouch made it possible for him to do, if that was intended i don't know, it was probably CCs idea from the start because she is very familiar with China (as we know she lived there to raise MaoMao and god knows for how long before that)
