Woh, I didn't know that ... And good point turn the murder of someone to a murder of their career 💯 Looking forward to seeing how each character develops!

Most of the students come from extremly rich and powerfull family's and the Shinomiya group stands above all of them. Ishigamis fear of Kaguya is not really irrational if you consider the stigma that comes with such a possition. A little side piece of information, there is one Girl in the school that comes a Yakuza crime family. On another note, you can murder someone without actually commiting a crime, for example killing the career of someone, i've read some time ago that it is unusual in Japan to get fired, instead they give you meaningless tasks in a far away room to make you feel useless until you quit yourself and in a Youtube short of a Girl that teaches english in japan she had to go through hell when she tried to switch jobs, they demanded apology letters, explanation and lots of things just to stop working at a place, it is a thing and you can hire people that quit for you too aparently. Ishigami probably meant it more literal and we as the viewers know how kind Kaguya can be so it is more comedy for us than it is terror for Ishigami :) Mass Media Club super secret intel: The girls got a scoop about Kaguya helping out in the Drama club, so naturally it was all they could talk about. Especially the Kaguya Fangirl Erika praised her dedicated play on the stage where she murdered Chika and mentioned that she really could tell that Kaguya wanted to murder Chika, she also mentioned that she herself fainted a few times just beeing looked at by Kaguya which Ishigami overhears and makes his fears even worse because before that he mostly thought he was just imagining things and he feels validated.

Suspension Bridge Effect: when experiencing physiological responses related to fear, but assuming those responses are romantic arousal (shortness of breath, increased blood pressure). The name itself came from an experiment in regards to misattribution of arousal: they made a woman wait at the end of a bridge, who then gave her phone number and name to the male subjects to answer questions about the project. Eventually the men who met her after crossing a suspended bridge were more likely to contact her compared to the ones who met her after crossing a normal and sturdy bridge. In popular culture I believe it's used in a slightly broader manner. Specifically: It's easy to confuse fear with simply attraction for another person.

In my opinion, the best romcoms have two things in common. Good character writing and a balanced male/female perspective. Kaguya, Horimiya,Toradora, and MDUD all have both to name a few.
