I absolutely adore this manga/anime I would highly recommend giving it a watch, it is wholesome AF There’s a few scenes where the text goes a bit quickly so I’d recommend pausing on those or watching through for the music/impact then going back to catch what wasn’t read The communication thing is explained in the first episode The anime/manga is told in multiple short stories per episode/chapter so there’s a variety of storylines I want them to just continue making this anime till it’s caught up it’s simply just gives me the warm fuzzies when I watch it😊

And I will confirm, Komi can't communicate because she doesn't speak. The show is centered around her learning to communicate and making genuine connections with others. You would love this series.

And what happens, without spoilers, is that the main character “Komi” has trouble communicating with people, making it difficult for her to make friends, this is where the main plot is based. I recommend it if you like that kind of anime, you won't be disappointed!
