It is a really sad story about a dog that waited till the day it died on the trainstation for it's human who died while beeing away from home. Hachiko is honored in japan for his loyality and there were a statue made for him. There is a bit more to it like how the statue was melted and remade later on but that is just the short version of it. Today you can still visit the statue on the Shibuya trainstation. Mass Media Club super secret intel: Erika tried to buy the cat-ears Kaguya has worn from Chika for 300 Million Yen (around 2 Million Dollar) Erika and Karen were excluded from entering the exchange event because both didn't speak any french, they snuck in anway. They tried to interpret what people were saying based on their expressions and while Miyuki was barraged with insults this was their translation: "It was love at first sight, you magnificent beast! I wont let my prey get away. The moment i laid eyes on you your katana pierced through my heart. The red string of fate led me here today, to japan! Ahh! my fated partner my samurai this love stretches to the heavens higher than mt. Fuji itself!" while they read Miyukis expression as: "I'm sorry, but i have no interest in any girl other than Shinomiya." Just when Kaguya came to defend Miyuki they were caught by their club president of the Mass Media Club. Side note: Not even in the Manga it is mentioned what they were saying exactly and it was "censored" for the joke.
