I really dislike how these subs don't even seem to try to bring across the difference in tone between characters. It's very important in my opinion for Suzaku in this example the subs say "Forget it." but he is speaking very formally and respectfully, and would usually be more something like "I respectfully decline" Don't worry, I also took it as a romantic confession. Did you by chance notice the difference between Lulu&Kallen battles, vs Suzaku&Lulu? Former is always, one saving the other in some form or another, but the latter is always beeng a strong duo, bulldozing through. I find that an interesting parallel, as post Kallen and Suzaku are supposed to represent each sides ace mech fighter. On another note, u ruined my day. U spoke positively for/of Nina T^T aaah To put it mildly/nicely: I really dislike her.

Euphemia is a princess and daughter of the Emperor, it would probably similiar to the royals in our World, someone unknown trying to get in front of the car, can range from obsessive fan to would be assassin, so it definetly was the right call to supress her atempt BUT they were kinda sloppy, they should've removed her before Euphemia noticed, it is kinda a thing to make it for the VIP as comfortable as possible so they shouldn't even be confronted with any interruptions but one can argue that these were not royal guards but securiy for the meuseum. You kinda noticed it yourself, it is indeed Guilt that eats Suzaku away, he was feeling guilty for the most of his live and it was probably the reason he joined the military too. All we see him doing since the show started was trying to safe people and get in front danger evry chance he gets. His self destructive nature really got a big hit with the Geass here :) on the other hand, it is again a great example of Lelouch and his character, he could've forced Suzaku to anything but decided to speak a command everyone wishes for their friends and family.
