2024-08-20 19:40:13 +0000 UTCWell i do have hindsight and watched it multiple times on my own AND with reactions~ i sure hope some of the knowledge stuck with me :) EDIT: It was for a long time my favorite anime too, replaced just recently by Frieren and a little bit before that with Clannad(afterstory) which i hope you get to see at some point soon too!

She Masturbated on the Tablecorner which is somewhat common in japan for girls to do. We could see that she looked at pictures of Euphemia while doing so! On the meeting for the Kyoto people we could see (again) a girl with black hair, her name is Kaguya Sumeragi, even tho it will never play any important role in the show, she is blood related to Suzaku, i think they are cousins. We can also see her in the short flashback where Lelouch and Nunally visit the Kurugi shrine for the first time, there we see Taizo Kirihara, Suzakus father the former prime minister of Japan Genbu Kururugi who commited suicide after the war against britannia broke out and forces japan to surrender because of it and then there was Suzaku and Kaguya too. Japan really really loves their Mount Fuji, it is one of the most famous landmarks in the country and it is said that gods reside there. They are super proud about it too so it makes more sense that Taizo said Britannia rapes their country when they installed a mining facility inside the mountain to produce Sakuradite (Sakura means Cherry Blossom) After the death of lelouch and nunallys mother they were send to japan for political reasons but soon afterwards declared war on Japan so beeing very important children it was natural that the most important people of japan were tasked with their hospitality, it is the same time Lelouch and Suazku became best friends and therefore Lelouch knows most important people from japan before the war like Taizo. It is only implied but it seems that Lelouch was under lots of propaganda from the japanese meaning "the seed planted 8 years ago starts to blossom" not that he needed any motivation to hate britannia after his mothers death and his fathers reaction to it. Yes, Shirleys father (Joseph Fenette) died because of the avalanche Kallen caused and killed many people and not only soldiers. One might think he was a soldier because he died in it but no, he was just a buisnessmen as far as i know and was not part of the fighting so his death is literally colleratal damage and makes it even worse, like always when civilians die. There is some additional infos hinted in the movies and i don't know if you are going to watch those so i wont say anymore about it besides, please don't watch the movies or the spinoff show, they suck.
