Because it forgot what color it once was" is my second fav. quote of all time, ever since it aired in 2006! (my fav. being "Did I dream to be a butterfly, or did the butterfly dream to be me?" 2024-08-13 22:27:20 +0000 UTCI don't really have much to add to this episode it is mostly battle so there is not so much side-information stuff i can drop here but i still found something! It is stated that the Burais and the Gurren are from Japan which isn't really true, the chef engeneer that helped Japan to advance technilogical to be somewhat near the ones Britannia produces is actually from India and thanks to Lloyd Asplund we even her the Name of said person, Rakshata Chawla (last name is never mentioned in the show) and the only other hint we get is that it was Lloyd who said the name so he is familiar with that person which let's us know that it is someone to noteworthy because Lloyd does not care about anything besides his research. Another thing from the Episode before i forgot to mention was the Drug refrain, they pretty much said most things about the drug in episode 9 but the side effects are only briefly mentioned, it attacs the nerve system in the brain and can induce severe cognitive problems like amnesia and psychosis and even more scary is that it can cause neural cell death which is basically what happens to kallens mother making her invalid with only little hope to ever get better again.
