honestly i really hope you consider a slice of life slot for reaction shows. they never stand a chance against more hype shows, but they're just as worth watching and you really do seem like you're interested in them

2024-06-13 19:04:51 +0000 UTCIt's a Slice Of Life comedy that takes the ordinary everyday events of a group of "mostly, but some not so very" ordinary people and exaggerates those events to great comedic and sometimes surreal effect. It really is very unique in the world of anime. Highly recommended. Also, as you asked, the weapons illustrated in the OPs are indeed metaphorical.

2024-06-13 18:59:10 +0000 UTC"Why is he riding a goat?" made me laugh hard. I love Nichijou (Everyday Life), full of imagination like you said, it was THE Slice of Life comedy for a long time. It's setup as an episodic, multiple 'skits' per episode. Some of the jokes are more cultural and aged at this point so they wont make sense as it's from 2011, but still highly recommend if you need a laugh.
