Frieren didn’t really know, or cared to know the meaning of it until many years later. The ring is now very important to her. When it was lost, she put in a great effort to find it again. Chad Rizz Himmel knew the ring’s mirrored-lotus design was symbolic for eternal love. That it would be a reminder for Frieren long after he was gone. This was so heartwarming & breaking at the same time.
