Agreed. I’ll share this comment that I’ve read regarding the ending; “It’s not the one you wanted, but the ending that it deserved”. This is Attack on Titan, after all.

I've now seen what the ending was in the manga and understand why people didn't like it(personally I still liked it but I understand where they come from). There was very subtle changes in the anime ending(this final episode was written by the manga author) The convo between Armin and Eren was slightly different. In the manga Armin said 'thank you for becoming a mass murder for us' and in the anime said we'll be together forever in hell. There were some other changes to that convo, but a lot of people said that fixed the ending for them. I would suggest looking up the manga ending on youtube to see all the little changes.

It features war racism xenophobia I mean you just name it. It features real life Ideologies. war is inevitable. You were never going to have peace anywhere because there's always going to be two different sides to everything. Everything has an arguing point. Nothing will ever be agreed on. That's why war will never end. Unfortunately, that's the same thing that happened there. The end of the Titans meant nothing because there was still the hate between eldians and the rest of the world. By the way, the kid at the end. I don't know if you noticed but he had on the scarf. It's implied that he is a descendant of Mikasa and he found the tree erens tree grew just like the tree ymir found... Does the cycle repeat itself like everything else in life? Sorry for the very very long comment but I've enjoyed this journey with you bro. You were one of the reactors that understood. Nothing's going to be happy. You didn't hate on Gabi because she killed Sasha just one of the many examples.
