2024-03-17 22:52:46 +0000 UTCThe Stark that you may be referring to is Iron Man. For me, since we’re watching a fantasy anime, The name, Ned Stark comes to mind. I loved that character until, well ya know, ya know. I’m really enjoying the “ridiculous and fun adventures” of this anime.

2023-10-30 10:50:00 +0000 UTCAbsolutely. The story wants you to follow the characters on their “journey”, their adventure, which of course will involve fights and battles. But it’s not those fights that give worth to the journey, it’s all the experiences along the way. Which is why something like “fighting a dragon” takes up the same amount of screen time as, for example, “looking for a flower”.

2023-10-29 13:29:09 +0000 UTCThe funny thing about the fight against the dragon is, in the manga the whole scene took place in literally 1 single page: Stark cuts off the claws, jumps and hits the dragon with his axe. That was it. The anime obviously threw in a bit more action for animation purposes, but the manga underlined even more just how much stronger Stark was compared to the dragon. Also a little bit of additional info in regards to when Eisen hit Stark: "My body reacted on its own, I was scared" and in the manga you see a panel of Stark starting to raise his right arm—maybe out of anger—so Eisen acted on reflex because he thought Stark was gonna hit him and, not realising his own strength, maybe even kill him.
