Appreciate your thoughtful, nuanced reaction on Loid planting the bug on Yor. It's good writing, I agree that there's very few people who wouldn't instinctively dislike the way he approached it because by now we're emotionally invested and hate to see the distrust (definitely felt that way too, myself!). But on the flip side when we consider it in context, we recognize it's actually the far more rational and normal thing for Loid to do given that he's a spy in deep cover; I think the fact that he obviously has misgivings about planting the bug just shows how deeply he already cares about Yor subconsciously. Normally he'd never give it a second thought, so the fact that he does at all, is more the great surprise. Yuri's sister complex is more for comedic effect, just to show that his brain is still operating in a very childish way (same as in the flashback where he tells her he'll marry her someday, which is simply an innocent childish thing to say; props that you actually recognized it as such since most reactors don't for some reason). Don't take it too seriously, other than maybe an indication of uber overprotectiveness, absolutely no chill, and general emotional immaturity. All of which are core Yuri traits, lol. 🤣 Although I will say that the brother/sister complex is annoyingly/weirdly (even outright disturbingly at times) overdone in Japanese anime, and I personally find it distasteful and unnecessary even in the most comedic of usages (although in comedy, it doesn't really bother me since I 'get it' in the context of the joke, even though I wouldn't write it that way myself even then). There are some things that don't add anything meaningful to a work of fiction at best, and are outright wrong at worst, and that's one of them. Just because a writer CAN, doesn't mean one SHOULD. (Unless theoretically I suppose they were incorporating it deliberately as a noted unhealthy trait that the character needed to grow out of, thereby becoming a valid plot element, but I don't think I've ever actually seen that done). Just a brief $0.02 rant on that.

Small thing you may have missed, Loid was reading Spy Wars comic at night when the rest were in bed, could tie into teaching Anya through the cartoon/series.
