You should watch the version of the ending theme on youtube that has the lyrics. Those lyrics just hit different..

However, after your reaction to the ending score, I would like to point out that there is a First Take of the artist, Ai Higuchi - “Akamai no Ko. She also does the vocals while playing the piano. It was such an emotional performance. I highly recommend you reacting to this, please.
