One of my favorite series and the fans have been hoping for a season 3 announcement sometime soon, which would be pretty dope! As it is the two seasons for me were satisfying, the animation is good and the comedy scenes are meme and clip worthy.

2023-03-22 21:45:46 +0000 UTCI enjoyed this show a lot. There is action but I'd say it's more focused on the relationships between the characters. Also Levi's voice actor plays the main character and the younger kid is voiced by Eren's VA.

It's not all action, there's comedic and lighter-hearted elements as well, it really hits a nice blend of tones that suits the story quite well. I'm an anime-only pleb so I can't speak to how well it was adapted from the source material, but the anime doesn't seem to stumble or have weird pacing from what I remember (it's been a few years since I watched it) so I'm guessing the studio did a good job of it. There's not a lot of reaction videos out there on it, but it always seems fondly regarded and popular despite its reputation as being a 'slept on' anime (as Joshua pointed out).
