And one last "late fun fact" at least untill the movie comes out. The scene with Albedo and Phillip got EXTREAMLY censured. Anime showed only a house covered in blood, but there is so much more. You see Albedo impaled on stakes the entire village, Vlad the Impaler style, as for Phillip himself...it was implied that 2 novels later she is still personally torturing him. Aslo, as I think I said before Renner even going full demon would fit right in with Nazarick. She is EXTREAMLY evil, as you could see, and in raw intellect she is abaut equal to Demiurge and Albedo, and as the cool little montage showed she was working with/for them all the way from season 2. Oh aslo aslo, the entire creepy AF song (omg Renner best Disney Princess EVER) is anime-oryginal. And one last more meta info. There is movie comming soon, you know it, and there for sure will be one more season. Overlord is so insanely profitable there is no way they won't adapt it to the very end. As for when we can expect season 5? Well definitly not anytime soon. Assuming they will adapt entire story till the end, we are speaking abaut 5years+ wait time, cuz the last 2 novels aren't even written yet, and as brilliant as the author is, he is extreamly lazy fuck when it comes to his release schedule...but meby long waits are the price one must pay for masterpieces...

I just love how this show circles back to things from previous seasons, when you do a rewatch you connect so much more because you know what happens later. This has been a great journey watching this with you Gaz, looking forward to what's next. But now starts the post Anime blues.

2023-03-18 19:42:00 +0000 UTCIf you remember when Albedo first gave Renner the Box with the Seed of the Fallen in it, Albedo asks if she will be able to fulfill the requirements to open the box.. The requirement to use the Seed to change into a demon is most likely an act of very negative karma. Then at the end of this episode when they are talking again Renner mentions poisoned food.... and in the 11th episode Renner had just made a tasty stew for all the Orphans. :(

2023-03-18 18:20:25 +0000 UTCIn the situation where Mare talks about the many people who are left in the city, he is not conflicted about the fact that he has to kill them, but more ore less about the fact that he could fail Ainz by letting some of them escape. The "settings" of Aura and Mare are "neutral-Evil" and due to that they are more apathetic towards everyone outside of Nazarick. thats also why his mood shifts toward the cheering in the end.
