youre wrong tho? ymir followed the king not because she is a slave but because she loved him. and the reason she died was because she couldnt heal thanks to not having a will to live, she was the one who created the curse of ymir(13 years then death) because she only lived 13 years tho?

Everywhere in the world humanity has enacted all sorts of horrific, monstrous violence on themselves and other humans. The part I was always interested in was the how & why. That part I think was the most shocking & heartbreaking. The terrible simplicity of it. The pain & manipulation of a child. A little girl.

Maybe I just didn't want to believe it, but when Marleyans talk about all the horrific things Eldians did for thousands of years, they're not wrong.. There's just a bit of missing context. They DID do all of those things, but Ymir was only following the king's orders because she felt she had no other choice. She was a slave and felt powerless to him. It's insane to think how you can control someone who could easily kill you through sheer manipulation. And I'm sure that manipulation continued on with the other titan wielders that came to be. Also, when Ymir died, I'm still not sure whether it was because she lost her will to continue living under that vile king, or her 13 years were up. I want to believe she lost her will because that would mean she finally stood up to him in a sense, but considering she's still a slave in that coordinate world, I think it was the 13 years passing that killed her.

Grisha said "why havent you showed me everything" meaning said future inheritor can send memories back by choice. Eren sent that memory to his father during that scene allowing them to communicate like they did
