2023-02-25 20:11:32 +0000 UTCThe guy in the hat in previous episode buying a paper? That was Jean- his new hairstyle was visible under the brim of his hat. That Lobov guy- he was originally in the Garrison, and was seen in episode 11 threatening to kill any deserters during the Struggle for Trost arc. So at some point after the retaking of Wall Maria, he must've joined the Scouts. And, not sure if it was intentional or not, but Lobov was also the name of the the guy that got Levi involved with the Scouts in the 'No Regrets' OVA. There's no mention of these two being related, but it was an interesting thing I noted along the way.
